Just wanted to apologize to everyone for not being around with my kids. Life got a little crazy but things seem to be calming down. Hope everyone is well and I promise I'll be poking you all very soon.

Savannah is currently on a mandatory evacuation order. They are busing people who need transportation to Augusta, GA, and Atlanta is expecting people as well. The Atlanta Braves are giving away tickets to the game tomorrow for evacuees so they can have fun and get their minds off things. Feel free to incorporate this in your game play!

Oy. So. I have been out of touch this month. And for a while prior to this month. Real Life Obligations are a bitch. Anyway. I just finished one class, got a week and a half before the next one starts. Which means like 10 days to relax and play.

I'm considering dropping Eliot and bringing in a new face. Anyone want a 40 something guy for anything? [Edit: Potential line in discussion] Maybe fresh blood would help me get my head back into the game.

So. I have kind of fallen out of sync with the game the last few months. Having a sick pup (and various other RL distractions) really took a lot out of me and focus was hard to maintain across the board. My beautiful baby went to the Rainbow Bridge mid month, and shortly there after I adopted a rambunctious baby boy. He's made himself right at home here, though, and is the absolute best dog I could have hoped for.

And now that things are settled and life is getting back to normal, I'm getting back on track. I will be posting my kids and replying to other people more regularly, so apologies if you get sick of me and mine. If anyone wants anything with any of them, though, let me know! To recap:

blakevega: single, raising 4 year old son Dex. Works as a waitress after burning out on social work. Has been revamped a few times due to loss of family members in game. Needs friends. Other single parents would be aces, but she's friendly and will befriend anyone.
eliotsageharper: single father who just took custody of his newborn daughter, struggling with parenthood but determined to do the best he can for little Emi. Definitely open to friendships, possibly even a romantic relationship if someone doesn't mind a 2 month old child in the mix.
galenmitchell: widower raising his 6 year old son Parker, dating Dani. Elena's brother. Open to friendships.
gavinrivers: Former child star, dating Elena. Open to friendships.
iainmckade: The face of Savannah's morning news, he's dating Kyra. He's lost his family in game and is definitely open to friendships.
irajudedevlin: gay, single, open to any and all relationships. He has been around since first adds and is seriously open to any and everything. Bring it!
leviwalker: Dating Alexis. Former Hollywood stuntman, retired due to a knee injury. His BFF is also in town. He's open to additional friendships.
micaholiver: Dating Renata, open to friendships.

Honestly, they're all open to developing friendships. I miss playing these babies, and really want to get them back on active duty and invovled status. Help a girl out! <3

work has been physically exhausting, i'm up for 2 hours and then right into bed. sometimes i make dinner, sometimes i don't. it depends on how exhausted i am. i wanted to check in with you guys! xoxo

So, my plan to get back on track January 1 failed. My dog had a seizure on New Year's Day and steadily declined thereafter. We put her down earlier this week, and I am a wreck. I'm taking a few days away from the computer entirely (except for school but I have talked to my professor) so that I can hopefully come back fresh in a few days.

Blake, Eliot, Galen, Gavin, Iain, Ira, Levi, and Micah are still here. <3

Hi there! The last few months have been rough for me, for a number of reasons. I'm not out of the woods yet. My dog is not doing well, and I am already a wreck where she's concerned, and will be more so when she leaves this world. For now it's a waiting (and worrying) game, but most everything else has sorted itself out so I'm ready to get back into play.

To recap/introduce, I have the following kids:
[Unknown LJ tag], a single mom raising her 4 year old son Dex. She's been through some changes and revamps during her time in game, and really would like to establish lines of all sorts for her.
eliotsageharper, a bachelor who has made a lot of mistakes in the past and is working on getting custody of a child he fathered last year.
galenmitchell. He's dating Dani, and is Elena's brother but could use friends and what not.
gavinrivers is dating Elena but could also use friends.
iainmckade, the face of Savannah's morning news, dating Kyra, and learning that he doesn't have to wear a suit and tie every moment of the day. It's a process!
irajudedevlin, 25 and single, he's gay and proud of it. He's been through a lot in his time in game (he's my first, and from first adds!) and he would like to find some friends and maybe more. He's wearing Ben Platt's face and with that face comes that voice, the boy can sing.
leviwalker is dating his boss (scandalous!), his BFF is in town, but he could use friends and what not.
micaholiver is raising his 3 year old son Lincoln, he's dating Renata, his BFF and little sister are also in town, but he could use more friends too!

I'm really open to pretty much any friendship line, and other lines can be discussed if you have ideas! I have been out of the groove for so long, I really just want to get back to playing full time, so if you've got any ideas at all for my peeps hit me up! Let's chat!

since about mid-December I've been fighting a cold that kept coming back and thinking I'll be fine and catch up when I'm better. except this week it came back five times worse and I think brought its buddy the flu with it. pretty much helpless. canceled on even seeing the two family members I have in town on Christmas because I didn't want to give an elderly lady this mess, it just might kill her. if my updates are rushed and crappy, this is why.

I haven't updated everybody on my situation and I feel like total butts for not saying anything. My facial pain went away and so did the migraines.... but lo & behold, my husband and I separated. He couldn't get the divorce because he realized how much it was and we both realized we just probably needed time away. So we're away. For the season. and a good portion of the start of the year, not to mention i've got a job coming up.

So i'm on hiatus. This has been a tough few weeks and i'm still struggling 5-6 years later in losses of my family. It's just a bad time for me and I really am so grateful everybody (hopefully) understands. <3

Just stopping by to say I aced both my classes this semester! I have one final grade already, which is a 94. The other is a 98.8 without the essay portion of my final exam factored in, but even if I bombed that I'll have an A. So stoked.

I've talked to the mod about having hiatus for the month, but I am going to try to get at least one post for each of my kids in the next two weeks. Thanks for being patient with me these last few months!

Hey all I just wanted to apologize for my lack of posts/comments for all my kids. The last couple weeks have been insane. On top of that I'm sick so it sucks. Fingers crossed I should be getting back around to posting and normal things next week.

Welcome to all the new folks as well!!

Sorry for going radio silent again. If it's not one thing, it's another. Last week, my dad wasn't feeling well. He got progressively worse as the day went on, and around dinnertime we started thinking he needed to go to the ER. He was at that point non responsive and just out of it. So we called the squad. A week later, he's still in hospital. He's got an issue with his kidneys and a small bowel obstruction.

In the middle of all this, my mom's sister stopped by on her way home after a Disney vaycay. Mom started cardiac rehab on Monday. Oh, and I've got finals next week. And of course, Christmas...So needless to say, I've been stressed to the max, and by the time I finally get to sleep it's like 4am, and then I'm sleeping till noon or so. And between doing school work, visiting dad, and doing whatever else needs to be done, online time is scarce. I haven't even managed to write in my journal for over a week now.

But. I am still here. And maybe I'll even get my guys to post here soon.

I forgot to tell everyone, I'll be in Boston this week, then I'll be home to keep up with things :D I am shacking up with my friend, but shes not home, but I'll be all over tomorrow :D then a seven hour drive home thursday!

I have freedom from doctors for a few. At least from ones that take me to another state and cost me $75 in tolls! I'm broke and hate this. I need food gdi..stupid expensive trips.

Anyway I'm trying to get my feet wet again. I had surgery yesterday but it was minor so I'm mostly back too form.
